Detailed Description
Day 1: Arrive Hanoi (D)
Arrive in Hanoi , settle into hotel and meet your tour leader. You then have the evening free to try out one of Hanoi 's many fine restaurants. Overnight in Hanoi .
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
Enjoy a morning cyclo tour of Hanoi , exploring the fascinating Old Quarter and French colonial district. Free afternoon to explore and then we meet up again in the evening for dinner and a water puppet performance. Overnight in Hanoi .
Day 3: Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, D)
We set off early and drive to Cuc Phuong (approx. 3-4 hrs) National Park, home to an amazing variety of wildlife. We visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center and stay overnight in bungalow accommodations inside the forest. There is an optional ‘night spotting' tour (depending on weather conditions) into the primary forest to find the more elusive mammal species, including the Black Giant Squirrel. Overnight in Cuc Phuong guest house.
Day 4: Cuc Phuong National Park - Hanoi (B, L, D)
After a hearty breakfast we bid our hosts goodbye and set off into the center of the forest where we commence a half-day trek through lush rainforest and to caves once inhabited by prehistoric humans. In the afternoon we have free time and then return Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Drive 5 hours to Halong Bay through lush green rice paddies where we transfer to a traditional junk boat for a cruise. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch, before exploring some of the many ancient, limestone caves. In the afternoon there will be time for some swimming and kayaking. After dinner the kids can enjoy a spot of night fishing. Accommodation will be on board.
Day 6: Explorer Halong Bay (B, L, D)
A full day of cruising Halong bay, visiting Dau Nguoi island, Conrua island, Luon cave (hollow cave), Bai Tu Long Beach and Ba Ham lake. In the afternoon we head to Cat Ba Beach where we anchor for the night. Accommodation will be on board.
Day 7: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Following breakfast we cruise around Bai Tu Long bay before transferring back to Hanoi for a free evening. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi - Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L)
Early morning flight to Hoi An. Enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow, winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Assembly Hall, the 200-year-old Tam Ky House and the Japanese Bridge. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An (B, L)
Enjoy a morning at the beach – with plenty of watersports to keep the kids busy. Experience local BBQ seafood for lunch overlooking the white sandy beaches. After lunch take a short boat trip to a nearby island to visit some handicraft villages and enjoy the beaches. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An (B, L)
Free day in Hoi An to explore the town, enjoy water sports, visit the tailors or simply relax. Vietnamese cooking lessons can be arranged upon request and tour of the morning markets. Optional evening traditional dance performance. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh and settle into the hotel. After lunch we tour the maze of streets and experience the hustle and bustle of Chinatown, ancient pagodas, mosques and cathedrals and War Museum. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh city - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
Today we take a half day trip to Chu Chi tunnels and explore the complex maze of tunnels built during the U.S.-Vietnam War. The afternoon is free or we can arrange a trip upon request to the Water Park , History Museum or the magical and whimsical Dam Sen Park. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 13: Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta Day trip (B, L)
We drive to My Tho, boat through the lush green vegetation of the canals to an orchard where we are treated to a delicious lunch. After lunch we back to Vinh Long Town where a van will pick us up for the trip back to Ho Chi Minh City , we will be back in town around 6:30 pm. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 14: Departure (B)
Free time for your final day in Ho Chi Minh before your departure flight home.
End of services. Our staff will give you the warmest goodbye and hope to see you again.

Terms & Conditions
This terms & conditions written by Vietnam Bamboo Travel. It applies to all people who made travel booking to Vietnam Bamboo Travel. Once you have your booking with Vietnam Bamboo Travel, you are agreed with below terms of service.
Tour Cancellation & Cancellation Fee:
All cancellations must be received in writing, sent to us via fax or email. The following rules apply for cancellations:
More than twenty (20) days prior to departure: 20% of the deposit or 100 US$ for the administrative fee
Less than twenty (20) days prior to departure: Complete forfeiture of deposit, due to hotel charges we incur for guest no-shows.
Children Policy:
Children under 12 years are generally granted a reduction of 30% of the tour price, provided that they are accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stay in the same room. An extra bed is fully charged as an adult.
Deposit & Payment:
A deposit of 20% of the tour price per person plus bank charges (credit card/ bank transfer processing fees) is required upon confirmation of your booking (If this amount is less than US$100, a US$100 per person deposit will apply). Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions.
The remaining balance of the tour price (80%) shall be paid in Vietnam within 3 days upon arrival.
Unused Services:
No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members.
Travel documents will be compiled after the deposit has been received and are sent two or three weeks prior to departure. These documents will be sent via email, and should be printed out by participants and retained as a receipt.
Responsibility:
All possible care is taken to ensure that our suppliers maintain the highest possible standards. However, we are not responsible in any way for problems, however they arise, that result from the booking of services we do not directly control.
Vietnam Bamboo Travel, its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, servants or agents shall not be responsible or become liable in contract or tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly due to any events beyond our control.
Refunds:
With Vietnam Bamboo Travel, you do not have to pay for anything you do not get as we have committed with you while making your reservation. Moreover, any kind of fault services under our control will be refunded to customers. Please do let us know if you are in one or all of cases below:
Air - conditioner does not work at all
Poor, rude or unreceptive tour guides and drivers
